Meet The Tarot
What is Tarot? Simply put, using a deck of tarot cards is a map to self discovery, to help guide us through life, using both intention and practicality in its application. There are 78 total cards in the Tarot deck, 22 of which are the Major Arcana, which divulge greater insight. The Major Arcana is where the tarot deck begins, with The Fool, at card 0, then The Magician, at card 1, and so on. The Major Arcana represent the passages or stages of the journey we encounter throughout our lives, sometimes recurring multiple times, creating the cyclical nature of life where there is no true end or beginning. Each card you pull provides guidance to a question you may have, and depending on when you pull the card will determine your outcome. The answer that tarot cards provide isn't telling your fortune or seeing into the future, but to provide insight to truths of your innermost self.
Sunken Moon Studios has chosen to work with the Major Arcana to curate a unique and magical experience. The Major Arcana can vary across different tarot decks, like our skeleton series, but their core meanings stay relatively universal. Use the simple guide below to help you determine what Major Arcana speaks to you the most, your favorite design, or which one you would like to manifest more of in your life. The choice is yours!
